Low voltage landscape lights have multiple uses in the landscape. From improving safety, to highlighting features such as trees, stone work, architectural features of your house and sculptures.

Garden lights can improve security (criminals looking to steal will target dark properties where it is easy to go unnoticed), and provide subtle light for safety for pathways and steps.

Some transformers can use your location to determine when the sun goes up and down so you never have to worry about your lights being on during daylight hours.

Feature trees can be lit up from above (Downlighting) or below (Uplighting) depending on the type of tree. You can shine up a tree trunk showing the canopy above, or install a light in a tree canopy shining down through the foliage, creating a dappled light effect with shadows on the ground.

Trees and shrubs can be enhanced by subtly casting a light the same colour as the foliage, flowers, or fruit, and the brightness can be increased of decreased over time.

Underwater lights can be used in ponds and water features, and again different colours can be used for different effects.

Luxor controller

There are easy to use apps available to control your lights, and now with decoder like technology from FX Luminaire’s Luxor controller, you only have to run a single pair of cables to all the lights and assign each light or bank of lights it’s own colour and brightness.

You can set them to turn on individually as you please and vary the brightness. This drastically reduces the amount of cable required to create different zones.

On the premium fixtures you can change the colours of the lights to match your football team on grand final night, set Christmas themed colours in December, Halloween theme etc!
